What’s your name and where are you from?
Paul Philippe and I live in Newark, New Jersey.
Please can you tell us a bit about yourself?
I work in customer service and have been looking at ways to make some more money. I've got a bit of spare time on an evening and weekends and really want to do something that will increase my income.
How long have you been a member of ProfitDuel?
About a week or two now.

Had you ever placed a bet before? Did you know anything about sports at all?
Yep - I'm a big soccer fan, so regularly bet throughout the season. Though I would say my betting and sports knowledge is super limited to soccer - I don't think I've ever placed a bet on a sport outside of it.
How easy or difficult did you find it to learn Matched Betting?
I wasn't sure how complex it was going to be upfront, but it really isn't difficult - especially when you have the help of Chris, the absolutely awesome Member Success Manager at ProfitDuel.
Chris literally talked me through the process step-by-step on live chat and email.
What was your starting bankroll/cash float?
$500. I was going to start with less, but Chris highlighted that this was never at risk and the more I could have as a starting bankroll, the more (and quicker) I could earn.
How much profit have you made so far?
Officially $140, but it's set to go up to over $200 in the next day or so.
Have you bought anything nice with your profit? Or are you saving up for something special?
Not yet - I'm focused on growing it. Then I'll work out what I'm going to do!
Do your family and friends understand how you have made the money?
I've not mentioned it to them just yet. I wanted to prove it worked and get some money in my bank before I shared the love.
What would you say to people who think matched betting is a scam, gambling, or too good to be true?
I'd say they're making a huge mistake.
I totally get why some people will be wary, especially if you're just looking at it on the surface - some people will see the word 'betting' and think it's gambling, but it's not.
What I would also say is you need to speak to the team. I mentioned it above, but Chris has been invaluable to me throughout my first week. He was always on hand and answered everything I asked.
What advice and tips would you give to a new ProfitDuel member who has just started matched betting?
Don't be afraid to ask questions.
